Lets dive deeper into the crosswind! The small footprint and lightweight design reduces install time and saves on unnecessary labor costs to the homeowner. while the the control junction box (J-box) can be quickly removed, making it easy to service and clean with a longer control harness to access internal components. The Crosswind V uses less energy and allows the homeowner to save on their monthly bill and features a capacitive touch design and easy-to-read diagnostics, this unit provides real-time status notifications directly to the customer and servicer. The Crosswind Intelligently heats and adapts to the size of your pool, notifying you when it reaches the desired temperature setting and when combined with the Raymote Mobile App you can control your heater on the go, and allows for simple automation for your other pool accessories without the need for complicated automation systems.

But why should you choose a heat pump anyways? A heat pump is an excellent cost effective option, because it utilizes electricity to run the compressor which heats the self contained refrigerant that turns into a gas when it gets hot and goes back to a liquid state when it cools. The heated gas then runs through the heat exchanger to warm the water that is passing through on the outside of the heat exchanger. This process as well as pulling in warm air from the outside of the unit combines to create a cost effective heating option vs traditional heaters. The real reason you wouldn’t want a heat pump is when you have regular temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit when you want to heat your pool, because the outside air starts working against your compressor.
